Flood-hit Montpellier find refuge at rugby ground

Ligue 1 club Montpellier announced on Thursday that they have reached an agreement with the city's Top 14 rugby club to play their coming matches at the latter's Altrad Stadium.

Montpellier, who are 13th in the French top flight, were forced to look for a new venue to play their home games after their Stade de la Mosson was severely damaged by floods at the end of September and then again on October 6.

They played a League Cup tie against second-tier Ajaccio at the Altrad Stadium on Tuesday and the agreement means they will remain there for the time being, starting with Saturday's game against Evian.
