Croatia punished for racism

Croatia will host their next Euro 2016 qualifier against Italy on June 12 behind closed doors because of racism and other incidents in their match against Norway last month, UEFA announced on Wednesday.

European football's ruling body also fined Croatia EUR50,000 ($54,000) for the "racist behaviour" of their fans and setting off fireworks and throwing missiles during the European qualifier which they won 5-1 in Zagreb.

Niko Kovac's men are currently top of Group H with 13 points from five games, ahead of Italy who have 11 with Norway on 9.
