Bayern wait on injured Coman for Bremen clash

Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich are waiting on France Under-21 winger Kingsley Coman for Saturday's match against Werder Bremen after he returned from international duty with a slight thigh injury.

The 19-year-old, who has already scored two goals in four Bundesliga matches this season, came off early in the French junior team's 2-1 away win against Scotland last Saturday.

But Bayern's medical department say he has only picked up a light injury and it remains to be seen whether he is fit to play Bremen and Munich will travel north with a seven-point lead in the table.

There was some good news for Bayern coach Pep Guardiola as Germany defender Holger Badstuber has returned to training, as has French winger Franck Ribery following a seven-month break with an ankle injury.

Fellow fleet-footed forward Arjen Robben, the captain of the Netherlands, has been back in training for a week following a groin injury and could play against Bremen.
