Marcel Koller will stand down as coach of Austria at the end of 2017 after failing to qualify for the World Cup, ending his six-year spell in charge.

Switzerland's Koller, 56, will stay in charge until the conclusion of the qualifying campaign.

Austria are currently fourth in Group D, nine points behind leaders Serbia.
