Fulltime Summary:
After few difficulties in the first half, Brazil finally manage to win and proceed to the next round as the head of the group. While Scolari's team was quite dominant at the beginning, the loosened up their pressure on Cameroon after Neymar scored the 1-0. Subconsequently the Indomitable Lions grew stronger and were able to equalize, but the Brazilian number ten netted again and marked his fourth tournament goal before half-time. After the break it didn't take long for the Seleção to strike again, with Fred scoring his first world cup goal after he just had missed an opportunity. At first, it looked like the Cameroonians would regain possession and try to come back, but this was an illusion. Instead both teams failed to create any dangerous attacks in the following 25 minutes, so this stage of the game proved to be quite uninteresting. While Cameroon obviously gave up in the last ten minutes, the Brazilians still wanted to get on the score sheet another time and the substituted Fernandinho finally managed to do so.

Full-Time
89'
By the way, Mexico's leading 3-1 in the concurrent game against Croatia, so Brazil will come first in their group.
87'
Cameroon still try to score despite the fact that it doesn't make a difference. After Fernandinho commits a foul, N'Guémo takes a free-kick from about 25 metres, but his shot doesn't even come close the target.
84'
Goooal for Brazil, 1:4 by Fernandinho
The Seleção seem to be in a festive mood now! Mbia loses the ball to Oscar, who instantly passes it on to Fernandinho. The substitute is able to finish with a toe-poked shot from about seven metres distance into the right corner of the goal.
81'
Finke exhausts his substitution quota and sends in Makoun to replace the agile and dynamic Choupo-Moting.
81'
Substitution (in) Cameroon -> Jean Makoun
81'
Substitution (out) Cameroon -> Maxim Choupo-Moting
80'
Stéphane Mbia (Cameroon) is shown a yellow card
There's really no discussion about this booking, since Mbia stops Luiz Gustavo from behind with a tactical foul.
77'
Apparently the Seleção still wants to score an additional goal! Marcelo is sent onto the left wing and dashes forward. But his cross is not good enough, the Indomitable Lions can clear it away quite easily.
75'
Edgar Salli (Cameroon) is shown a yellow card
That's a quite painfull challenge! Salli tries to reach the ball with his leg stretched out, but he only hits Dani Alves' toes. Clearly that's a yellow card and the Brazilian right back needs some medical attendance.
72'
Cameroon make another substitution, Webó comes on the pitch while Aboubakar goes off.
72'
Substitution (in) Cameroon -> Pierre Webó
72'
Substitution (out) Cameroon -> Vincent Aboubakar
71'
After a rather rough challenge against him, Neymar is in pain and immediately walks off the pitch, but seems to be fine. He then is replaced by Chelsea midfielder Willian.
71'
Substitution (in) Brazil -> Willian
71'
Substitution (out) Brazil -> Neymar
69'
That's just not good enough! After N'Guémo loses the ball a the centre circle, Brazil try to quickly get the ball up front. But Oscar passes it right into his opponent's feet.
67'
Well, at least Neymar still wants to score! After Ramires is sent onto the right wing for a counterattack, his low cross onto the edge of the box almost reaches Neymar. But the striker is ruled offside anyway.
65'
In this stage of the match, nothing worth mentioning happens. Brazil aren't trying to force another goal on Cameroon, while the Indomitable Lions more and more take over possession. But their attacks don't create any danger at all.
63'
Ramires, who had do make room for Hulk, is now substituted for the left-footed winger.
63'
Substitution (in) Brazil -> Ramires
63'
Substitution (out) Brazil -> Hulk
61'
Neymar tries to get past Nyom with a back heel trick, but he fails to complete it and loses the ball. Play continues with a throw-in for Cameroon.
58'
Finke replaces Moukandjo with Salli, so nothing changes in their attacking line.
58'
Substitution (in) Cameroon -> Edgar Salli
58'
Substitution (out) Cameroon -> Benjamin Moukandjo
57'
Right now neither of the teams is able to create good attacking efforts, play is located in midfield since the passes lack precision on both sides.
54'
Like after the 1-0, Cameroon again are able to gain possession and pressure the Seleção into their half. Are Brazil maybe doing this on purpose? Giving the Indomitable Lions a false sense of security and then scoring with a counterattack could be just the right method.
52'
Of course the Brazilian supporters wake up since their team now has a reassuring lead, it's steadily getting louder in the arena.
49'
Goooal for Brazil, 1:3 by Fred
Fred scores with his next attempt! Fernandinho is able to toe-poke the ball from the edge of the penalty area onto the left hand side. David Luiz sends in a short cross from there and finds Fred's head at the rear post! The striker scores his first world cup goal without any trouble.
48'
Brazil come back on the pitch with much pressure and are clearly looking for the third goal! So far Cameroon doesn't get a hold of the ball.
47'
Is this a penalty? It looks like Hulk is fouled inside the box, but the referee's whistle doesn't sound. Subconsequently the ball bounces to Fred, who cuts inside from the right and finishes with a strong left-footed shot from the edge of the box. But Itandje is able to parry it away.
46'
Play resumes and Scolari makes his first substitution: Fernandinho comes on the pitch and replaces Paulinho. The Manchester City player will take over the same position in central midfield.
46'
Substitution (in) Brazil -> Fernandinho
46'
Substitution (out) Brazil -> Paulinho

Second Half begins

Halftime Summary:
Well that was an interesting first half! Given the constellation, one would've expected the Seleção to be dominant the whole time. And for the first 25 minutes they did, taking the lead after 17 minutes. But since Cameroon have nothing to lose, the Indomitable Lions more and more were able to pressure Brazil into their half and create some good chances! It took Finke's team only a few minutes to reward themselves with the equalizer, but Neymar was able to score again with his fourth tournament goal. While the Cameroonians continued to be the attacking team, Brazil had an amazing effort just before half-time, but Hulk couldn't convert. Still there could be more goals to come for both teams, nothing's decided yet!

Half-Time
44'
Brazil have a superb chance but they miss it! They put some crisp passing on display, the ball is passed on from Neymar to Oscar to Hulk with only one touch each. The strong left-footed winger only has to finish from about six metres, but he somehow manages to shoot over the bar! Unbelievable!
43'
David Luiz is known for occasionally dashing forward with the ball despite being a centre back. He does so this time, but immediately loses the ball at the halfway line.
41'
Besides of scoring the necessary amount of goals, Brazil don't look convincing at all. Again it's Cameroon attacking and trying to surge into the penalty area.
39'
Choupo-Moting is doing some good self-promotion! The Mainz 05 forward who'll be a free agent as of July, 1st, swings in a corner from the right and subconsequently gets the ball back. This time he takes a shot from the edge of the box, but it misses the target and goes wide.
37'
So far, it's mainly Neymar keeping his team in the tournament, what would they do without him? The goal scorer actually fills in the role everyone expected from him, but his team doesn't fullfill the expectations.
35'
Goooal for Brazil, 1:2 by Neymar
Neymar scores again and takes the lead on the tournament's goal scoring sheet. After Marcelo passes the ball to Brazil's superstar, their number 10 dribbles past the defenders and even nutmegs one of them. Finally the Barcelona striker takes a shot from the edge of the box and tricks Itandje into thinking he would shoot onto the right corner. Instead, Neymar's attempt goes right into the middle of the goal!
32'
Right now Brazil can't find a way to regain possession, since the Indomitable Lions have abig physical presence.
29'
Well who would've thought that Finke's team would come back so fast? More and more Cameroon are taking over control, pressuring the hosts into their own half.
26'
Goooal for Cameroon, 1:1 by Joel Matip
But this time it's Matip! After Dani alves can't stop Nyom on his defending side, the Granada defender sends in a low cross onto the edge of the six-yard-box. The Schalke 04 defender Matip isn't marked at all and can score the equalizer with a low shot!
25'
He hits the bar! After Thiago Silva almost concedes an own goal, the Indomitable Lions get a corner from the right hand side. Moukandjo makes the outswinging corner and it looks like it's Matip's header hitting the crossbar but actually the ball bounces off David Luiz's shoulder.
22'
It's mostly Brazil attacking right now, Cameroon can't manage to free themselves. Paulinho can maintain the ball on the left hand side and centres it to Fred. But Itandje can parry his shot and the Brazilian striker looks to get the rebound, but fouls the goalie instead.
20'
That's a great reaction! Coming from the right, the ball is deflected and bounces high into the box. Neymar immediately takes a volley from about twelve metres, but his shot goes onto the centre of the goal and is punched away by Itandje.
17'
Goooal for Brazil, 0:1 by Neymar
Neymar scores his third goal of the tournament! Luiz Gustavo can win the ball from Moukandjo and dashes onto the left wing. Subconsequently the Wolfsburg midfielder brings in a low cross for Neymar and the ball bounces from the striker's instep into the rear corner of the goal!
14'
Cameroon are closing in on Brazil's goal! Choupo-Moting can make his way through the left and makes a crossfield pass, but the hosts are able to clear the ball.
11'
Eyong Enoh (Cameroon) is shown a yellow card
Well that's his own fault. Enoh is penalised for an unnecessary tackle with both legs sprawled against Marcelo. The ref is right to book the Antalyaspor midfielder, but of course it doesn't really matter for the Indomitable Lion.
9'
Cameroon have their first attempt! Coming from the left wing, the ball is passed on to Enoh, who has a shot from the edge of the box. But it's deflected by Marcelo for a corner, which isn't dangerous at all.
6'
After Hulk dashes over the right wing and maintains possession against several defenders, then the St. Petersburg forward picks a pass to Fred, who at least can force a corner from the right for his team. But it comes to nothing.
4'
The Seleção prove to be quite dominant in the first minutes, quickly trying to get into the penalty area and create some danger. For now, the have the ball under their control.
2'
Brazil almost scores the lead! Dani Alves finds Neymar with a long ball onto the right corner of the box and Brazil's superstar passes it on to Hulk. The winger immediately plays a lateral pass to Paulinho, but he's not able to score from about six metres. His shot is blocked and subconsequently cleared away.

Kick-Off
Brazil's Hulk recovered from a minor hamstring injury and will replace Ramires in the starting eleven.
There were also rumours about this match possibly being fixed, therefore it'wll be under special observation. But Finke denied such deliberations: "It must be a rumour and I've not even heard it spoken about yet. Knowing the team as I do, for me it is impossible. We don't need to worry about that, I'm sure."
Having no points and no goals scored, Cameroon clearly needs to display an improved performance tonight and that's what makes future PSG defender David Luiz cautious: "Their pride has been hurt and they will be looking to beat Brazil because it would be like winning the World Cup for them." Finke did kind of confirm that by saying: "Nobody wants to leave the country with a bad impression. We need to show a different face to save our reputation -- that of the team, of the players and of Cameroonian football."
An impressing victory against Cameroon would not only fire up the hopes of the Brazilian supporters, but also give confidence to the players themselves. Last but not least, the Seleção also wants to show what they've got, as skipper Thiago Silva stated: "We want to show we are a good team and can play collectively in the best manner possible. In recent games we have had some problems, but that is normal at a World Cup."
For Brazil, this match is a chance to create more euphoria in their country, since their first two performances weren't convincing at all. After their luckily achieved 3-1 win against Croatia, the host's national team only managed to draw against Mexico, who's goalkeeper Ochoa gained much publicity afterwards.
It wasn't only Song's lack of discipline but also Benoît Assou-Ekotto's headbutt against his teammate Benjamin Moukandjo, which made Finke state the following: "We will need to talk to certain players. The behaviour of some of them was not at all satisfying. It's unacceptable to see that kind of thing." Assou-Ekotto will be punished by not being in the roster for this match.
Volker Finke's team is already eliminated, so the German coach and his team are mainly focussed on playing a good farewell game. Their captain Samuel Eto'o will start on the bench, which is an improvement. The 33-year-old suffered a knee injury in the first game and wasn't able to participate in the second one. Maybe he'll be substituted later on. Besides, Alex Song is banned for three games for his elbow assault on Mandžukić against Croatia.
If Croatia or Mexico win the game, Brazil will come second at least, even if they lose to Cameroon. However, should the concurrent game end in a draw, a loss to the Indomitable Lions would mean elimination for the Seleção.
Brazil is on first place in group A and will probably proceed to the next round. A win would guarantee them to come first, but even a draw would be enough to finish second at least. It all depends on the concurrent game in the group.
Azad Derakhshani will provide the commentary for this match.
Welcome to tonight's match between Cameroon and Brazil!
