Arsenal and Man United in hunt for Germany U-21 ace

Manchester United and Arsenal are still interested in Borussia Dortmund ace Mario Gotze – even though he signed a new five-year deal last month.

The Germany Under-21 international became one of the hottest properties in the Bundesliga after an explosive debut season last year.

And Dortmund moved fast to ward off interest from a host of European sides by tying Gotze down to a new long-term deal at the club.

But, according to reports in Spain, a host of La Liga clubs are ready to launch audacious bids for the playmaker just months after he penned his new contract.

And talkSPORT understands Manchester United and Arsenal are monitoring the situation with a view to making offers of their own.

I think Arsenal don't need Players on this Position, we have Wilshere,Fabregas,Ramsey, Diaby and a lot of talented Players of the Reserve Team, but ManUtd need Players like him...

He had signed the new contract 6 weeks before. He told everybody that he will stay in Dortmund for the next years. He gets more money and is happy at our side.
