Belgian international midfielder Steven Defour is returning home after joining Anderlecht from Porto, the Portuguese club announced on Wednesday.

Porto said they would receive a six-million-euro fee from the Belgian champions for Defour.

The 26-year-old, who has 44 international caps, returns to Belgium after spending three seasons at Porto with whom he won the Portuguese league title in both 2011-12 and 2012-13.

Defour moved to Porto in August 2011 from Standard Liege at the same time as France defender Eliaquim Mangala, who on Monday also left Porto for Premier League champions Manchester City.
