Ideye recalled for Nigeria friendlies

Nigeria caretaker coach Daniel Amokachi on Tuesday recalled West Bronwich Albion striker Brown Ideye for friendlies against Bolivia and South Africa.

Ideye was overlooked for last year's World Cup but has rediscovered his form in the English Premier League.

The Super Eagles host Bolivia on March 26 in Uyo, southern Nigeria, and three days later travel to South Africa.

Fresh calls ups include Aalesund defender Akeem Latifu, Watford forward Odion Ighalo and Moses Simon from Belgian club Gent with Stoke City's Victor Moses placed on standby.
