Some of the transfers to have taken place in the English Premier League during the final day of the close-season transfer window on Monday:

AMALFITANO LOANED TO WEST BROM

French attacking midfielder Morgan Amalfitano, 28, joined West Bromwich Albion from Marseille on a season-long loan with an option to buy.

"Morgan is a technical player with good quality on the ball. He also has fantastic work-rate and we believe his game is well suited to the Barclays Premier League," West Brom manager Steve Clarke told the club website.

West Brom also signed Northern Irish goalkeeper Lee Camp on a short-term rolling contract after Ben Foster was ruled out for three months by injury.

POWELL, BEBE LEAVE MAN UNITED

Manchester United allowed a pair of players to leave the club on season-long loan deals.

England Under-21 midfielder Nick Powell, 19, joined Wigan Athletic, while 22-year-old Portuguese winger Bebe moved to homeland club Pacos de Ferreira.

MONTENEGRO STAR JOINS FULHAM

Fulham announced the signing of Montenegro international striker Elsad Zverotic from Swiss club Young Boys on a two-year contract.

SPURS SEND PAIR TO QPR

Tottenham Hotspur loaned a pair of players to second-tier Queens Park Rangers, with Cameroon left-back Benoit Assou-Ekotto and English midfielder Tom Carroll moving across London to Loftus Road.

Croatian international midfielder Niko Kranjcar also arrived at QPR on loan from Dynamo Kiev, linking up with QPR manager Harry Redknapp for the third time in his career.

SWANS SWOOP FOR VAZQUEZ

Swansea City completed the signing of Spanish Under-21 international Alvaro Vazquez on a season-long loan from manager Michael Laudrup's former club Getafe.

IRELAND REJOINS HUGHES AT STOKE

Irish midfielder Stephen Ireland left Aston Villa for Stoke City on a season-long loan agreement.

The 27-year-old will be reunited with Stoke manager Mark Hughes at the Britannia Stadium, having previously worked under the Welshman at Manchester City.

GEDO BACK AT HULL

Egyptian forward Mohamed Nagy, known as Gedo, returned to Hull City on loan from Al Ahly, having previously spent the second half of last season at the KC Stadium.

TRIO ARRIVE AT PALACE

Promoted Crystal Palace added a pair of new defenders to their squad, with 26-year-old Jamaica international Adrian Mariappa joining from Reading and 22-year-old full-back Jack Hunt signing from Huddersfield Town.

Scotland international midfielder Barry Bannan also arrived on a three-year contract after falling out of the first-team picture at Villa.

RAZAK LEAVES CITY FOR ANZHI

Manchester City allowed Ivory Coast international midfielder Abdul Razak to join Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala on a season-long loan deal.
