Kick-Off
Ghana has made a couple changes after their loss to the US, hoping to have a better performance than the first outing.
Both sides are prepared for the match, and despite the significantly diminished performances of other Group Stage teams, look for Germany and Ghana to perform admirably in a match that means plenty for both sides.
The German side will look to take care of business early and still looks to advance from the "Group of Death" unscathed. They handled a respectable Portugal team rather easily in their first Group Stage match and will look to do the same here. The Ghanian side, however, has plenty of talent and they will try to recover from their first loss against a familiar foe in the United States.
Kevin-Prince Boateng may end up facing off against his brother, Jérôme Boateng in German half. Both players are in good form and will look to make an impact on the match. Germany has plenty of support for Boateng in the back line, his brother will also have Michael Essien and Asamoah Gyan pressing in search for an early goal.
Thomas Mueller is coming off one of his classic performances. The young winger enjoys his moments on the world stage and will likely make his impact known very early in the match. Ghana, however, are a very strong side and will look to bounce back from a disappoint loss to the US team.
In just a few minutes Germany and Ghana kick off for what should be an excellent match. There is plenty on the line for both sides. Stay tuned here for more updates and action!
