Japanese international striker Junya Tanaka has joined Sporting Lisbon from Kashiwa Reysol, the Portuguese club announced on Sunday.

Tanaka, 26, who was not included in Japan's World Cup squad for Brazil, signed for an undisclosed fee on a five-year deal, the club website announced.

Sporting have inserted a 60 million euro ($82 million) buy-out clause in Tanaka's contract.
