CSKA's Serbian international midfielder Zoran Tosic said Wednesday he considered Zenit St Petersburg to be his team's main rivals in the battle for for the Russian title.

"Rostov, Spartak and Lokomotiv are without doubts very strong teams," he told Sport Express daily.

"But reigning champions Zenit remain our main rivals for the Russian title. No matter that they're currently sixth. The main battles for the win in the championship are still ahead."

CSKA, who lead Rostov at the top of the Russian table, have set up their winter training base in Spain before the season restarts in March.

Tosic, 28, who has scored 43 goals in 179 matches for the Red Army side, added that he believed his side's first league match after the winter break against city rivals Spartak will be the key encounter in the race for the title.

"The match against Spartak right after the winter break will be the key game for us," Tosic said.

"We are all working hard here in Spain to prepare for this match the best way. I think it's very important to restart with a win and I believe everything will go our way if we manage to win this derby clash."

Tosic, who has won 70 caps and scored 11 goals with Serbia, added that he has been happy in CSKA and has not considered any transfer moves.

"I've never thought seriously about any other leagues, I'm pleased with my position here in Russia and CSKA in particular," he said.

"I'm confident that I can continue playing with CSKA for years to come."
