The Denver Broncos advanced to next month's Super Bowl on Sunday by defeating the New England Patriots 26-16 in the National Football League playoff semi-final game.

Denver will face the winner of Sunday's later game between San Francisco and Seattle in Super Bowl 48 on February 2 in suburban New York.
