Five quick facts about Saturday's German Cup final between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund at Berlin's Olympic Stadium:

FIVE - Some 76,197 fans will pack into the Olympic Stadium to watch the final and the German Football Association (DFB) received 300,000 ticket requests. Some 13.55 million Germans watched the match on television when Dortmund beat Bayern 5-2 in the 2012 final and this year's final will be shown in a record 182 countries.

FOUR - This is the 102nd meeting between the sides in competitive matches with Bayern leading the series with 46 wins to Dortmund's 25 and 30 draws, but Borussia won the most recent clash when they romped to a 3-0 win in Munich last month in the league.

THREE -- This is the 71st German Cup final and the 20th time Bayern have been involved. With 16 cup final wins, they can claim the most victories while Dortmund have lifted the cup three times.

TWO -- Out of Germany's 30-strong extended World Cup squad, 13 players will be on display in Berlin with seven Bayern players and six Dortmund stars looking to book their Brazil places when head coach Joachim Loew decides his final 23-man squad on June 2.

ONE -- At 52cms high, weighing just under 6kgs and with a volume of eight litres, the German Cup trophy has been used since 1965. An extra 5cms had to be added to the base in 1991 to allow all the winners names to fit. Although it looks like gold, the trophy is made of sterling silver and is decorated with 42 semi-precious stones.
