Belgium overtook World Cup winners Germany to claim second place behind Argentina in the FIFA rankings released on Friday.

Germany and Argentina both lost points in the rankings because last year's World Cup matches are now worth fewer points.

Copa America winners Chile moved up one place to number 10 while Netherlands dropped outside the top 10. Gold Cup winners Mexico moved up 14 places to 26 while losing finalists Jamaica rose 21 to 55th.
