Real's Diaz replaces Bellingham for Leipzig clash
Real Madrid midfielder Brahim Diaz has been named in the starting XI to replace the injured Jude Bellingham for Tuesday's last 16 first-leg clash at RB Leipzig.
Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti hinted on Monday that Diaz would replace Bellingham, who has four goals and three assists in five Champions League games this season.
French defensive midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni has been named at centre-back alongside captain Nacho Fernandez, with Madrid light in central defence.
Centre-backs Antonio Ruediger, David Alaba and Eder Militao have all been ruled out for the 14-time European champions due to injury.
Leipzig coach Marco Rose made only one change to the side which drew 2-2 at Augsburg on Saturday, starting midfielder Mohamed Simakan for Kevin Kampl.
Lois Openda, who has four goals in six Champions League games this campaign, will lead the line for Leipzig alongside Benjamin Sesko.
