Christodoulopoulos signs with Olympiakos

Greece international attacking midfielder Lazaros Christodoulopoulos has signed a two-year contract with Olympiakos, the Greek Super League club announced Tuesday.

The Piraeus side did not give details of the deal but Greek media reported that the 31-year-old player would be receiving 600,000 euros annually.

Christodoulopoulos becomes the first player to have worn the jerseys of all the four major Greek clubs: Olympiakos, AEK Athens, Panathinaikos and PAOK Thessaloniki.

He began his career with PAOK in 2005, moved to Panathinaikos in 2008 and then, after three seasons in Italy with Bologna, Hellas Verona and Sampdoria, he returned for two seasons played with AEK.

Christodoulopoulos has 32 appearances with the Greek national team since 2008 scoring one goal.
