Invincibles: PAOK Thessaloniki end Greek season undefeated

Champions PAOK Thessaloniki finished the Greek Super League season undefeated on Sunday after beating Giannina 2-0, becoming only the second team in Greek football history to achieve the feat.

Panathinaikos Athens were the first team to finish undefeated in 1964.

Second half goals from English forward Chuba Akpom and Ukrainian midfielder Yevhen Shakhov lifted PAOK to their 26th victory in 30 matches. They also had four draws and finished on 80 points although they had two points deducted for fan violence.

Olympiakos finished in second place with 75 points followed by AEK Athens on 57.

Relegated were Giannina, Levadiakos and Apollon Smyrni.
