Sporting Lisbon won a second successive Portuguese League Cup on Saturday with a 3-1 penalty shootout victory over FC Porto having needed an injury-time goal to secure a 1-1 draw in regulation time.

Fernando Andrade put Porto ahead in the 79th minute before Bas Dost levelled in the second minute of stoppage time.

Defeat means Porto have now finished runners-up three times in 12 editions of the tournament.
