Reid heading for West Ham exit - Allardyce

New Zealand captain Winston Reid currently has "no future" at West Ham United due to his inability to agree a new contract, manager Sam Allardyce said on Monday.

Reid, 26, will be out of contract at the end of the season and is yet to agree new terms with West Ham, who visit Everton in the FA Cup third round on Tuesday.

"There is no future for Winston Reid at West Ham United at the moment because his contract finishes on June 30," Allardyce told a press conference.

"He hasn't said he is going to sign and he hasn't said he isn't, but you would err on the side that he isn't by the feel and the look of it at this moment in time, by the know-how in the football world I have been talking to -- other managers and so forth about the situation.

"So I would say it is highly unlikely that Winston is going to sign for us based on what people are saying to me."

Reid, capped 18 times by New Zealand, has been linked with teams including Arsenal and Manchester United in the British media.

He has started 19 of West Ham's 20 Premier League games this season, scoring once.
