Van Gaal delights fans with touchline tumble

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal made a late bid for Oscar recognition with a comical touchline tumble during his side's Premier League clash with Arsenal on Sunday.

Protesting against what he felt was a dive by an Arsenal player, the Dutchman marched up to fourth official Mike Dean on the Old Trafford touchline and to illustrate his point he fell flat on his back.

His actions drew roars from the home fans, whose side were 3-2 up at the time, and footage of the incident quickly went viral on social media.

Van Gaal, 64, has been under serious pressure for several months at United, but his side went into the game against Arsenal chasing a third successive win in all competitions.
