Toure back for Man City's Dynamo Kiev date

Manchester City welcomed influential midfielder Yaya Toure back from a heel injury for their Champions League last 16 second-leg match at home to Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday.

The Ivory Coast international, who missed Saturday's 0-0 draw at Norwich City, came in along with Pablo Zabaleta as manager Manuel Pellegrini made two changes, with Bacary Sagna and Wilfried Bony dropping out.

Toure was expected to line up in the number 10 role, providing support for lone striker Sergio Aguero. Jesus Navas kept his place on the right flank, so Raheem Sterling was named on the bench.

City lead 3-1 from last month's first leg and are bidding to reach the quarter-finals for the first time.

Dynamo were unchanged from their 2-1 Ukrainian Premier League victory away to Karpaty Lviv on Friday.

Coach Sergiy Rebrov was missing several players through injury, but Brazilian right-back Danilo Silva, who had been doubtful with a muscular problem, was fit enough to be named on the bench.
