Football: No more home defeats in 2013, vows Hamburg boss

Despite just two wins from their last 11 home matches, Hamburg's sports director has vowed the Bundesliga strugglers will lose none of their three remaining home league games in 2013.
Hamburg have lost just once in their last five league matches since ex-Holland coach Bert van Marwijk took charge in September after predecessor Thorsten Fink was sacked for a poor start to the season.
The Hanseatic outfit went down fighting in losing 2-0 at home to fourth-placed Borussia Moenchengladbach on Saturday to leave them 14th in the league.
But sports director Oliver Kreuzer is backing his team to win their next three home league games against Hanover 96, Mainz and Augsburg -- who are all in the bottom half of the table.
"We won't lose another home game until the winter break," the 47-year-old told the Hamburg media.
"We should manage that, especially if we continue as we did against 'Gladbach."
Hamburg's Germany goalkeeper Rene Adler said it was not an unreasonable aim for the rest of 2013.
"I would sign up for that immediately, but you don't always get what you want in football," he said.
"All we can do is promise to do everything we can to make that happen."
Hamburg's only win at home so far this season was a 4-0 romp against promoted Eintracht Braunschweig and they face Champions League Bayer Leverkusen, who are third in the league, away on Saturday.
"The Gladbach game won't throw us off course," said Adler, after Leverkusen suffered a shock 1-0 defeat at home to Eintracht Braunschweig last weekend.
"We will do everything we can to make sure Bayer lose twice in a row, they don't like that in Leverkusen."
Hamburg are waiting on the fitness of their Dutch captain Rafael van der Vaart who missed training on Tuesday with a stomach infection.
