Paris Saint-Germain's Italian midfielder Marco Verratti is doubtful to face Chelsea in Wednesday's Champions League last 16 second-leg match, manager Laurent Blanc said on Tuesday.

Verratti has missed his team's last three matches with a groin injury and Blanc said that he would not be able to make a decision about the 23-year-old's fitness until after Tuesday's eve-of-match training session.

"We don't know if he'll be in the squad tomorrow," Blanc told a press conference at Stamford Bridge.

"There'll be an answer after training tonight. I hope that he is fit."

PSG, who lead 2-1 from the first leg, are otherwise at full strength, apart from right-back Serge Aurier, who is suspended after insulting Blanc and his team-mates in an online video.
